This is a philosophical prose poem in which universal consciousness, or Spirit—referred to as
God—is understood as the foundation of existence. As the ground of individual existence, Spirit is intimately responsive to human intelligence. For it suggests a reciprocal awareness. Song of the Spirit is complementary to the philosophical The Immaterial Structure of Human Experience and Spirit as Universal Consciousness, both by the same author.
